Jonathan Mungandr
Lokyne's assistant. He follows orders well but seems to have
trouble thinking for himself. Unless a solution to a problem is written
in his book then he is unlikely to be of much help.
He
records events and reads correspondence in the field ledger. The
ledgers are paired books used to communicate across time. Normally when
changes occur it takes time for the change to work it's way down the
time line, and so anything written in a book would take sometimes days
to affect a copy in Atlantis, but these books were created in a
sub-time bubble which breaks the usual rule. Whenever one is changed it
changes the other in kind, irrespective of the point of time the other
is in. This is the only form of direct communication Atlantis has with
its field agents. |
Batur Kinnas
Atlantis'
only trained warrior, although he is still an academic. He tries to
avoid violence where possible but delights in learning new combat
techniques. He is an expert in every weapon known to man, from spears
and swords to more modern guns. He is sent with researchers and
operatives if it seems likely that resistance may be met or danger
encountered as there are many dangerous periods of history that need
documenting.
The decision to draw a weapon and kill is much
harder with the Atlanteans' understanding that in doing so you kill not
just one person but a whole line of individuals, therefore, he usually
choses to disarm or maim rather than kill but if his hand is forced and
lives are at risk he will pull the trigger. |
Leonardo Da Vinci
Leonardo
is Sigyn's cousin, born of an Atlantean researcher gone native. He had
the choice of being sent to Atlantis for education but chose to stay in
Italy to study art and some darker subjects that would have been
frowned on in Atlantis. He is a talented engineer and has a fascination
in how things work, organic and mechanical. He has the ability to view
problems from many angles and find solutions other may miss. He is a
very talented inventor and also seems to have found a way around Sigyn's
temper and tantrums which are known to cause frequent problems.

Nafri
Nafri is a Norse priest. He is sentence to death for being out after
curfew but luckily is rescued by Lokyne. Nafri came into existence in
the new timeline and so has no place in history but is given a home in
Atlantis in exchange for knowledge into their enemy. Nafri is terrified
of aether energy as in the Norse timeline it is used for punishment and
execution but he can also use aether energy raw, through a pair of
metal bracers, an ability deemed useful by the DTC as it is exactly the
power they have to overcome. However, Nafri is not an aggressive person
and is quite shy and reclusive and useless in the heat of battle,
particularly against those he sees as his Gods.
