As such, he is a worldly lad with a very modern attitude and little reservations. He was pleasant child, very industrious but quite well behaved until he got bored when he would act up a little. He started school at four and grew well in education until he entered university at sixteen. On his first night out with the boys, Hayden heard the tales of Lokyne's accomplishments and decided that, impressive as they were, he could do better. His first prank was a very simple stink bomb under the pope's chair. Lokyne caught him quickly and reversed it and that was the start of the great cat and mouse game that has lasted two years and spanned several decades. As the pranks went on, they got more and more elaborate with Hayden inventing his own gadgets, variety of bombs (non lethal, at least) and automatons. While Hayden has caused a lot of hassle, over the last few years, the chief of the Department of Time Conservation has never been too hard on him. He sees Hayden as a young Lokyne with splendid prospects. However, Hayden does need to be broken in before he can be made part of a team, as, for the moment, he tends not to play well with others and favours acting alone. A trait he sometimes shares with Lokyne.
